Our Work

Where strategy meets
African biodiversity

Kiasili Afrikana is a strategic advisory boutique focused on African biodiversity, Indigenous Intelligence Systems, and nature-based market systems. We partner with multilateral institutions, landscape restoration initiatives, global biodiversity frameworks, and nature-based enterprises to translate African biodiversity into scalable, replicable restoration, enterprise, and market outcomes.

Our strategy is simple: African biodiversity intelligence, applied commercially. We turn deep ecological knowledge into institutional frameworks, viable enterprises, and visible brands.

Our work is supported by a curated network of subject matter experts across taxonomy, ethnobotany, forestry, conservation, and enterprise.

Service Offerings

Our Advisory Services

01
Biodiversity Intelligence & Institutional Advisory

We provide the biodiversity intelligence infrastructure that connects policy commitments to ground-level restoration reality — integrating Indigenous Intelligence Systems, biocultural knowledge, and landscape memory into frameworks that institutions and conservation programmes can act on.

The result: your institution speaks African biodiversity with depth, accuracy, and African authority.
02
Restoration & Nature-Based Enterprise

We design indigenous restoration ecosystems and nature-based enterprise models that are both ecologically grounded and commercially viable — turning biodiversity intelligence into supply chains, demonstration landscapes, and nature-based businesses across diverse African landscapes.

Enterprise & Market Support

Restoration enterprises, conservancies, and indigenous nurseries are supported in building the brand identity and market presence needed to grow beyond project dependency.

Nutraceutical & Cosmetic Advisory

Global product developers are advised on the commercial viability and sustainable development of African indigenous botanicals — drawing on field-verified biodiversity intelligence to inform responsible, market-ready products.

The result: restoration that sustains itself — ecologically, commercially, and as a brand.
03
Brand, Market & Visibility Strategy

The indigenous biodiversity sector has an attention problem. Critical work goes unseen, native species remain unfamiliar to the markets that should be choosing them, and organisations doing transformative conservation struggle to build the presence their work deserves.

What We Bring

Fifteen years of commercial branding, marketing, and enterprise expertise — now fully applied to African biodiversity — to help restoration programmes, conservation organisations, and nature-based enterprises become visible, legible, and compelling to the audiences that matter.

The result: your work gets the attention it has earned.
04
Capacity Building & Training Systems

We design and develop proprietary capacity building programmes that translate African biodiversity intelligence into commercial, ecological, and institutional outcomes — built for licensing and scaled delivery across African biodiversity markets.

The Methodology

Drawing on 25 years of experience in training, enterprise development, branding, and commercialisation, our programmes are designed as branded, licensable systems — structured for Train-the-Trainer deployment, so certified facilitators carry our methodology into markets across Africa without diluting the IP.

Programme Range

SME commercialisation and nature-based enterprise development  ·  Premium interpretive forest plant walks  ·  Educator and institutional workshops  ·  Platform-based training for scalable continental delivery.

The result: a branded, licensable system that multiplies impact across Africa — without multiplying you.

Our Products

Kiasili Afrikana Indigenous Medicinal Seedlings

We supply trees, shrubs and aromatic seedlings — both common and threatened species. We build and rebuild ecosystems while creating medicinal and visually rich landscapes with resilient, high-value indigenous species.

Beyond seedlings, we support landowners in curating their farms, estates, forests, and compounds as living ecosystems — guiding layout, species selection, and phased development for long-term ecological and aesthetic value. We work with a client's vision.

Kiasili Afrikana Wildcrafted Wellness Teas

Natural, not processed — sustainably harvested teas, packed under hygienic conditions. Our teas support immunity boosting, hormonal balance, vitality, coughs and colds, joint health, mental and physical endurance, digestive health, and general body wellness.

Kiasili Afrikana Wild Forest Honeys
🍯 Dry Season Wild Honey

🍯 Rare Underground Wild Honey

Small seasonal harvests. Creamy, light-coloured, smooth, and mild.
